Schwarz, Heinrich
Born in Munich in 1906, Freikorps member in 1919, trained as photographer, joined NSDAP and SS in 1931, from 1939 onward deployed at Dachau, Mauthausen, and Auschwitz concentration camps, in Aug. 1943 made deputy camp commandant at Auschwitz, became camp commandant of the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp in Nov. 1943 and of the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp in Feb. 1945, sentenced to death by French military tribunal in 1947 and executed.
